Omaha Reunion & Book News

I’m back from the reunion! I had a great time, and here are some photos and highlights of the trip:

We arrived on Wednesday, and the only event that day was a family night for only raider family. We could attend because we were related, and I was able to gather lots of research for my book by interviewing the Doolittle Raid historian, Carroll Glines, and David Thatcher, one of the raiders. During the rest of the week, we visited the Strategic Air & Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska, where an autograph session was held. Other events included a luncheon with an air show, and a grand banquet.

Pictured above is me in the bomb bay of a refurbished B-25 bomber.

Research for my book was heavily added to by visiting the reunion! The manuscript is close to being done, but the next step is finding a publisher…and one that will publish the work! Stay posted for more news...

At the Reunion--Omaha, Nebraska!

Hi Everyone!
My mom and I are at the reunion now and are having a great time! I've already had a chance to gather research for my book--I've even had a conversation with Carroll Glines, the official Doolittle Raid historian. There are five raiders left, and we've met four of them so far. Everything is great!

I hope that you're as excited as I am to see Denver and the Doolittle Raid come to be!
