Exciting Book Cover News!
Here's the exciting news that I promised...an aviation artist named William S. Phillips, who does a lot of Doolittle Raid paintings, has agreed to let me use one of his paintings on my cover! It is an amazing piece of artwork titled Into the Arms of the Dragon that features my Uncle Denver's plane!
You can see a picture of the artwork at this link:

Publishing Process Update
Hi Readers,
I am almost entirely done with the writing part of my book. It is now in the editing process. A dear family member, who is about to gradute with her B.A. in English, served as my editor from the grammar and writing viewpoint. My good friend, Mr. R. J., whom I met at the Raider Reunion last year, has graciously agreed to do historical edits for the book.
I hope to have the text entirely finished very soon, and then I will finish the book cover.
Also, I have another AMAZING announcement about the book to post soon. Stay tuned...

Change of Plans
First off, I just want to say that I'm sorry for not having posted in a while! I've been pretty busy, but I have been working on the book. A lot has happened since my last post, so here's the rundown.
I decided not to submit my manuscript to Peachtree Publishers after all--I have several reasons for this, but I have decided not to even submit my manuscript. Instead, I am going with a more independent publishing company that gives me more control over the book. This way, you will be able to purchase my book three ways:

Publisher news & book preview
I've finally decided which publisher to send my manuscript to first. The publishing house is called Peachtree Publishers (located in Atlanta, GA), and they seem to be pretty good. They've published several books about notable Georgians and Georgia history, so I hope they think Denver Truelove's story would be a great addition to their publications.
The final draft of the manuscript is almost done...I'm adding a few last-minute details. I hope to send the manuscript in sometime this summer!
In the meantime, I don't want to keep people bored, so...I'm going to give a little book preview! It's just a short movie that I created. You can view it below:
